Fresh 48 Hours

The anxiety, the worry, the rush, the moments and everything is happening so quickly.

It’s here, it’s time for your new bundle of joy to born into this world.

These are moments that happen so quickly and moments that you will never get again.

It is hard to take time to make sure you remember everything and capture the little moments while still being in them.

Let me do that for you. Let me capture those brand new moments. So you can relax and not have to worry. So you can enjoy, love on and cuddle your newborn baby.

Our Fresh 48 Package is a package that includes me coming to the hospital to photograph your brand new baby within the first 48 hours of their precious life. Typically these photographs are sweet moments as they are unfolding of mom and dad and baby, baby meeting siblings for the first time and baby alone. Other family members can be included. These sessions typically take 30 minutes to an hour depending on how everything goes with baby, nurses coming in and feeding times.

There is no need for an outfit at this time. Baby will either be naked or swaddled.

Sometimes mom doesn’t feel her best after birth and doesn't feel up to photos. That’s ok! There are plenty of photographs that we can take that can taken at multiple angles that include mom such as hands, breastfeeding (if you’d like) and baby in focus mom not, that don’t necessarily focus on mom but she is still a part of the moment. That is totally up to you!

So now that you know what a Fresh 48 Hours session is and you are ready to schedule yours, here’s how it works.

I know that oftentimes babies and deliveries are very unplanned and happen when you least expect it but oftentimes they are also planned. Sometimes we have to play it by ear and we are totally fine with that.

If you are booking months ahead, we will base the date off of your due date but as the date draws closer that will probably have to adjusted. If you would happen to find out that you will be induced or you know that you will have to have a cesarean section then make sure you let me know as soon as you have that date.

For the Fresh 48 Hours sessions I am not there at the time of birth (birthing sessions are another topic for another day;) ) but will need mom or dad to contact me as soon as possible after baby is born to give a heads up for timing.
