Meet Heidi Lynn, Professional Photographer, Wife and Mother
Hi! I'm Heidi Lynn a professional photographer from Missouri. I have been married for 15 years and have 4 kids, three sons and 1 daughter. I have been photographing professionally for 11 years now. This has brought me tons of experience with kiddos that don't want to smile or even look at the camera, they may be cranky, tired or uninterested but I am going to show you the tips and tricks I have learned along the way!
Trust me, I haven't always known what to! My husband bought me my first digital camera after our second son was born. It was actually just a fancy point and shoot camera but that is exactly where I started! I may not have learned manual mode on this camera but I did learn a lot about photographing children that I still use today.
After that I went on to purchase my first DSLR and I was so excited and absolutely in LOVE! BUT I couldn't figure out how to use it! The manual was SO overwhelming so then I started looking online and just became more and more confused!
I can honestly say it took me YEARS to start shooting in manual. I was terrified but I finally made myself dive on in and I have not looked back since!! I have no idea why it took me so long but I DON'T want that to be the case for you.

“I met Heidi Lynn seven years ago when I had a session scheduled to do maternity pictures. As any first-time mom I felt very self-conscious, however as soon as I met her, she was so calming and made me feel comfortable almost instantly. Over the next year we did monthly photos of my daughter and we became closer over the next year. We continued to do holiday pictures and sporadic pictures through the years.
When I found out I was pregnant again, we decided to again do monthly pictures of my second daughter. After so many sessions (40+) I started to ask questions about how photography worked. I never understood why the turnaround took so long, all the buttons and she would use words like IOS, Raw, and shutter speed. I quickly realized that it was more than a click and adding a little brightness to edit pictures before uploading to Facebook.

They make the photos their profile picture and the best thing is when you see your prints on the walls of a family’s home.
